Hi, I’m Wisam!
Welcome to my blog! My name is Wisam (we-sam) Fawzi. I help organizations work smarter with Microsoft 365, Power Platform and, more and more, AI agents. Sometimes, I speak about what I do at public events.
These days I focus on AI and agents: Copilot Studio, Copilot Cowork and MCP, built on a solid foundation of SharePoint and Power Platform. How did I get here, you ask? Here’s my story:
In August 2011, I got my degree in Computer Engineering. That same month, I joined a consulting firm specialized in Project Server implementations. This is when I was introduced to SharePoint and, you guessed it, Project Server. During my time there, I built numerous Project Server and SharePoint farms and helped clients become more productive and efficient using these technologies. In 2013, I moved to a bigger consulting firm, where I added more tools to my toolbox, including PowerShell, Office 365, Nintex and Power Platform, plus programming languages and frameworks like TypeScript, Angular and React.
Over the years since, Power Platform became the centre of my work: Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and the automation around them, along with SharePoint governance. Today I’m a Principal Digital Transformation Consultant with PL-200 and AI-900 certifications, and most of my time goes into designing and building Copilot Studio agents and Copilot Cowork plugins, and connecting them to the systems people already use.
As a consultant, I’ve learned to listen to my clients, understand their pain points and use technology to address them.
This brings us to today. This blog is my attempt to share what I learn and give back to the tech community, starting with my series on MCP.
